Appointment reminder texts for hair salons
Color and cut appointments run long, so a no-show can empty a chair for half a day. NoShowText sends each client a reminder 24 hours and 2 hours ahead and puts every reply on your own cell.

A day in the life with NoShowText
A stylist with a booked column feels a single no-show as a gap that cannot be refilled with a walk-in. Booking tools remind by email, which clients skim past. A text is read within minutes, and a reply of X tells you early enough to call someone from the wait list.
Here is how a normal day runs once NoShowText is connected. Twenty-four hours before each appointment, your client gets a text from “NoShowText for Maple & Main Salon”. They reply C to confirm, R to reschedule or X to cancel, or they type a few words of their own. Two hours before, a second, shorter text goes out unless they have already confirmed, in which case they get a gentler note instead. If a client texts something like “running 10 late”, we pass it straight to your own cell, so “stuck in traffic, 15 late” reaches you while your hands are busy with the previous client. At 5 pm you get one short summary of tomorrow: who confirmed, who cancelled, who has not answered.
What your client sees
This is the real 24 hour text, with a sample business name:
NoShowText for Maple & Main Salon: Your appointment is Tue Nov 4 at 3:00 PM. Reply C to confirm, R to reschedule, X to cancel. Reply STOP to opt out.
It starts with the business name so the client knows who is writing. It has one action, three one-letter answers, and the opt-out line. Texts go out between 8 am and 9 pm in the client’s time zone, never in the middle of the night.
Privacy for hair salons
The reminder says appointment, day and time. It does not name a service, a price or a stylist, so nothing about a client’s color or treatment shows on their phone. Replies come to your cell with the client’s name.
Setup in five minutes
Connect Google Calendar or Calendly, point us at the client’s mobile number, and add one consent sentence to your booking form. Both Google Calendar and Calendly work today. Nothing in your calendar is changed. After you connect, you get one text on your own phone saying you are live, and from then on every new booking is picked up on its own. If you ever need a quiet week, text PAUSE and reminders stop until you text RESUME, while client replies still reach you. A short settings page lets you set your business name, time zone, and the booking link clients get when they ask to reschedule.
Price
$39 a month, flat. There is a 14-day free trial, a card is needed up front, and you can cancel any time from the billing portal. There is no per-text cap.
Questions
Can clients reschedule themselves?
Yes. When they reply R, Calendly clients get your reschedule link and their current slot is held until they pick a new one. Google Calendar clients are passed to you.
Does it send marketing texts?
No. The number is verified for appointment reminders only, so there are no promotions or review requests.
What if I have several stylists?
One account covers one business. Connect the shared calendar, or the one you want reminders for.
How fast can I start?
Most owners connect a calendar and send a first reminder in under five minutes.
