Appointment reminder texts for personal trainers

A trainer's session is the product, so a client who skips it takes the whole hour with them. NoShowText texts each client a day ahead and two hours ahead, and the reply goes to your own cell.

A day in the life with NoShowText

Early mornings and after-work slots are the first thing clients skip when life gets busy, and they are the slots you cannot resell. A text with a one-letter way to confirm or cancel gets you a yes or an early no.

Here is how a normal day runs once NoShowText is connected. Twenty-four hours before each appointment, your client gets a text from “NoShowText for Ironwood Fitness”. They reply C to confirm, R to reschedule or X to cancel, or they type a few words of their own. Two hours before, a second, shorter text goes out unless they have already confirmed, in which case they get a gentler note instead. If a client texts something like “running 10 late”, we pass it straight to your own cell, so “running 10 late” tells you whether to warm up the next client first. At 5 pm you get one short summary of tomorrow: who confirmed, who cancelled, who has not answered.

What your client sees

This is the real 24 hour text, with a sample business name:

NoShowText for Ironwood Fitness: Your appointment is Tue Nov 4 at 3:00 PM. Reply C to confirm, R to reschedule, X to cancel. Reply STOP to opt out.

It starts with the business name so the client knows who is writing. It has one action, three one-letter answers, and the opt-out line. Texts go out between 8 am and 9 pm in the client’s time zone, never in the middle of the night.

Privacy for personal trainers

Reminders carry only your business name, a day and a time. They never mention weight, goals or health details. Replies and numbers stay with you.

Setup in five minutes

Connect Google Calendar or Calendly, tell us where the client’s mobile number sits in the booking, and add one consent sentence to your booking form. Both Google Calendar and Calendly work today. Nothing in your calendar is changed. After you connect, you get one text on your own phone saying you are live, and from then on every new booking is picked up on its own. If you ever need a quiet week, text PAUSE and reminders stop until you text RESUME, while client replies still reach you. A short settings page lets you set your business name, time zone, and the booking link clients get when they ask to reschedule.

Price

$39 a month, flat. There is a 14-day free trial, a card is needed up front, and you can cancel any time from the billing portal. There is no per-text cap.

Questions

What about a 6 am session?

Reminders only go out between 8 am and 9 pm in the client's time zone. An early session gets the 24 hour text the afternoon before, at the latest 9 pm.

Can clients cancel by text?

Yes. They reply X, the reminders stop, and you get a text saying the slot is open.

Does it work for group classes?

It reminds each booking on your calendar, so a class works if each attendee is on the calendar with a mobile number.

Is there a long contract?

No. Cancel any time from the billing portal.
